We, the undersigned, formally request the permanent dissolution of the Public Relations Department, effective immediately.

Over the course of its existence, the department has produced zero measurable outcomes, used up a budget that could have funded several competent alternatives, and helped create the sense of organised inaction that now defines its legacy.

Their output has mostly been announcements about upcoming announcements, meetings to plan future meetings, and a custom Discord emoji of questionable quality.

We believe the organisation would function better, and probably be more entertaining, if the department were replaced with a potted plant. The plant wouldn’t ask for a 10% budget increase.
